Childhood
I was born in England, spent several years living in Singapore, and finally settled in Australia when I was ten. Moving between countries at a young age gave me a deep sense of curiosity and an openness to new experiences and perspectives. It taught me to explore, adapt, and see the world from different angles – a mindset that continues to guide my approach to software development and problem-solving today.
Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement has been becoming a software developer – learning the craft, the logic, and the creativity it demands. There’s something incredibly rewarding about transforming ideas into real, working products that people use and enjoy. Every project I’ve worked on, from small prototypes to large-scale apps, has strengthened my appreciation for the blend of precision, problem-solving, and imagination that defines great software engineering.
Purpose & Passion
I’m driven by the pursuit of engineering excellence – mastering the craft from high-level architecture down to each line of code. I take pride in creating software that’s both elegant and reliable, delivering experiences that feel effortless and genuinely enhance people’s lives. What excites me most is building technology that pushes boundaries – innovative systems that blend creativity with performance to make something truly impactful.
Always Improving
Software development is a discipline built on continuous learning. The landscape shifts quickly – new tools, frameworks, and paradigms appear almost daily – and that’s exactly what keeps it exciting. I embrace that constant evolution by staying curious, experimenting with new technologies, and pushing myself to grow as both a developer and a collaborator. Every challenge is a chance to learn something new.
Inspiration
With a background in the arts and a love for technology, I find my inspiration at the intersection of creativity and engineering. I read widely, watch films, explore design trends, and stay curious about what’s happening at the cutting edge of software. For me, there’s no hard line between art and (computer) science – software development lives in the space where they meet. Logic and structure don’t limit my imagination; they give it form, allowing creativity to take shape through code.
